I thought 2012 was a good year for TV. There was some great stuff out there - indeed, there is still some stuff that I would have loved to have seen (like Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, the later seasons of True Blood or The Walking Dead) but haven't because I don't have a full cable TV package - but I can wait *g*

Got new issue of Classic Rock which had a big feature on the Rolling Stones and a joint interview with Nikki Sixx & Duff McKagan (one of my dream 80s threesomes *g*). Got new issue of DIVA it had some great interviews w/Patty Schemel (was drummer in Hole & subject of Hit So Hard documentary), Nona Hendryx, Lucy Spraggan off X-Factor (clearly I'm not paying attention as I didn't realise she was gay - also Jade who was voted off last week is gay as well) and Clare Balding. Last week The Times had a page of photos of Marilyn Monroe in its Luxe supplement for the Salvatore Ferragmo exhibition. They also had an article on the relationship between Keith Richards and Mick Jagger which they then chose to illustrate with a big photo of Marianne Faithfull - if they were going to do that, they should have gone the whole hog ( Read more... )
